This is my modest planted tank at my home.
The living room doesn't have any windows, so having a fish tank with its own lighting and refreshing greenery really transforms the atmosphere of the entire space.
It may be small, mainly because my wife didn't allow me to have a larger one, but it proves that even a small tank can add so much to a room.
Visitors to our house are instantly drawn to the fish tank.
Smaller tanks are much more manageable in terms of time and cost when it comes to maintenance.
In fact, I plan on having a couple more tanks with different habitats, as two contrasting tanks next to each other make for an even more intriguing display.
As they say, size isn't everything...
